Coax and Correct: Molding Dogs and Building Connection

Coax and correct; a phrase Jeremy recently picked up. We often find that these mentalities and overall strategies we talk about with dog training applies to much more in our lives than just dog training. On this episode, Jeremy describes a recent experience he has had by joining blacksmithing class, how it connected to training dogs, and how a lot more was learned than just how to pound steel. By creating and molding his project by himself, that piece of metal holds a ton more value and connection than if he were to have just bought it in a store. The same is true with our dogs. There is certain connection that forms from working with your dog, one that you don’t get by sending it off to a trainer.
